Trump Re Ukraine

Trump was an established wealthy businessman. Zelensky was an entertainer funded by a TV channel.
That was his farther, Donald is much more of a spoilt brat, and if he had just pasively invested his dads fortune he would be far more wealthy than he is today - so business wise, some would say he has been a failure. and I would agree.

The Donald's only real claim to fame was the TV show "The Apprentice" where he demonstrated his ability to get people to follow him through TV - so if anything Donald's only claim to anything self driven is through a TV channel

oh so you think that justifies killing innocents even those on your side
Ukraine were defending themselves, they weren’t targeting innocent civilians

Collateral damage is awful, but when faced with the worlds biggest military extreme measures have to be taken…..the blame lies with the Russian invaders.

Nothing is that simple, the UK has had a deterrent at sea since 1969, co operation with the US has been a vital component, and still is with the current construction of the Dreadnought class SSBNs & the AUKUS project with Australia. Tens of thousands of UK jobs are dependent on these projects. Do you still want to sever all links?
I answered your question, so how about answering mine
"so a question for you - are you happy to dance to his tune?"

No, which law have Ukraine broken?
did you miss that they would have to agree to only use them on military targets unless you class high density civilian occupied areas as that

Stop squirming. You claimed the use of cluster bombs is illegal. It isn't.

I repeat , its not that simple, I have stated the downside of your proposal and you seem to think its a good idea. Personally I prefer to have the deterrent.

I understand what you are saying and I also want to keep our deterrent. However, we shouldn't accept being bullied by Trump, we should push back. If that means he takes further petty action then we need to deal with that as it arises.

no squirming ukraine are using the bombs illegally from what they agreed when they got them .
killing innocent women and children you obviously see no wrong in this

No wonder Trump is having a hissy fit:

European stocks outpace Wall Street since Donald Trump took office
Driven by Trump telling them that they need to defend themselves ..

.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index finished trading on Feb. 17 up 0.5% to 555.42 points, its highest ever close. The latest catalyst pushing the European index to a record high was aerospace and defense stocks that collectively rose 4.6% on expectations for greater defense spending on the continent. It was the largest one-day rise in European defense stocks since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

Defense stocks leading the European market higher on Feb. 17 included Britain’s BAE Systems, which rose 8.9%, and German conglomerate Thyssenkrupp, which soared 19.8% to its highest level in more than a year. Arms maker Rheinmetall gained 14% on the day.

But not severing all ties as has been suggested

Zelensky has a 57% confidence rating in the latest poll - 13% above Trump’s own current ratings.

Just sayin'...
