Ukraine counter offensive

irrational hatred

I have a rational dislike of dictators who send their armies to invade neighbouring countries.

Sadly, you approve.

If that is the case, why did you support the overthrow of Ukrainian democracy by Ukranian nationalists.

Why don't you face the fact that the EU and others must share responsibility for what has happened in Ukraine.
They openly agitated for the overthrow of a legitimate leader of a democratic state, simply because he refused their offer of a trade deal.

Why don't you face up to the fact that Putin sent his army to invade a neighbouring country?

There was a civil war going on in Ukraine due to the fact that extreme nationalists supported by the EU overthrew the legitimate leader of that country.
Why are you in denial about the origins of this conflict.

I would be more concerned about your irrational hatred of Russians.
Remind us again, which country invaded another sovereign country in Europe last year?

Ignoring the Putin fan club for a while, the Russians appear to be on the offensive again, especially in Luhansk, but it appears they're still probing rather than throwing the reinforcements they've built up in.

Actually the latest estimates are they've lost around 40% of the pre-war active tank fleet. They've brought more out of the reserves but the quality of those varies heavily. T62s aren't a good replacement for T80s.

Since those estimates are backed up with individual photographs it's very hard to argue that Russia hasn't ****ed away several armies worth of armour.

But if you want comedy claims then the Russian MoD is hard to beat. It seems they're in the wrong industry as they clearly can't fight a war.

I find the way that other languages use . instead of , and vice versa really jarring. Where are you from?

Personally I find it amazing that Russia has lost over 100 T62s. Their reserves must be truly **** if those are the tanks being issued.

We've seen some of those 80's T62s already. They don't use the same ammo as later tanks so they may not be able to make for shells for them if they run out. Other than stocks, spare parts all come from the factory. In Ukraine.
Not the latest at all, but It depends what they're up against. T-55s have been doing well for Syria.

TASS reported that deliveries of the best/latest latest in T-72 models, BM3's iirc, were delivered in 2022; but what's in "a batch"?

It'll be interesting to see what lines up for a fight, imminently.

A decent report with Ukraine losses quoted, and some good clips:

The B3 version is a refurbishment of older model T72 tanks. Its a pretty comprehensive overhaul. A new gun, optics, engine and better ERA.

Batch is indeed vague.
