When does immigration become colonisation?

The difference between a migrant and a colonist is that a Migrant is someone who moves into a country and accepts to live by society’s rules. A Colonist is someone who moves to a new country and changes society and rules to fit himself. When Nelson Mandela and Ghandi kicked colonisers out of their countries we built statues outside parliament to honour them. So when are we having our statue of Nigel Farage next to them?
Maybe you mean the Russian oligarchs that came over

They paid into the Conservative Party, bought up chunks of London and got themselves in the House of Lords.

Dictionary definition of a colony..

a country or area under the full or partial political control of another country and occupied by settlers from that country.

Don't know whether the problem of mass immigration ,illegal and legal would constitute colonisation.

Although the outcome could have the same result.
Vinty has encapsulated the difference well.
Coloniser occupy and control the territory. As JohnD says, like Israel occupying and controlling Palestine. Of course there are other famous (and infamous, e.g Hong Kong, India, Australia, America, Canada, South Africa, etc) examples.

Migrants are subject to the laws and traditions of their adopted country.

It's natural that migrants will have an effect on their adopted country, they become citizens of that country, in the main, and are entitled to a say in its evolution.

In the 'its evolution' would you include practices we call abhorrent?

If and when they they become citizens they are entitled to a vote. That follows that they can vote for whatever candidate suits their ideology, just like you can, and no doubt, do.
Your prejudice might be equally abhorrent to them.

What practices do you find abhorrent?

Mandela stated in some speech

Did Farage kick us out? Where am I now?!?!

How many UK Parliamentary Constituencies do you think will vote for a pro-Sharia MP?
When the balance is tipped?
You might do well to read the full text of Enoch Powells speech you know the one the establishment shut down.
The same establishment that runs a two tier police force, can't believe people can't work out what they're sleepwalking into, you being a prime example coming out with bo*lox like that.

Some people read the bible and conclude the yellow people will inherit the earth.
