saying you are a rank that your not

But he did serve as a command sergeant major. Do you at least accept that?

an absolute no no which is why its causing such a stir over the water

TBH, I'm not sure it is yet.

but gives speeches saying he has been to war

So far there is one speech. He probably just misspoke. Maybe he meant he was training troops for war. It was a such a momentary thing. Is there anything like an interview or an article where he has ever claimed he fought in a war. Or is it just this one word in one clip.

Here's a good summary from a former general interviewed by USA Today. And another interviewee says that if they really needed him he could have been recalled.

Retired Maj. Gen. Randy Manner, who held top positions with the National Guard Bureau, called the controversy manufactured. Walz would have filed his papers for retirement long before his unit received notice that they were being mobilized for deployment. The retirement papers Walz filed take five to nine months to process, said Manner, who said he does not know Walz but plans to vote for the Harris-Walz ticket.

“The idea that a man who served his country honorably for 24 years somehow ‘cut and run’ because he retired from the Guard in his 40s to pursue his next phase of life is an insult to him and everyone else who also served their nation so honorably,"

1. Doesnt matter many people get a temp promotion but you DO NOT refer to yourself as that after its taken away
2 . yep it is
3. You dont accidentally forget that you have never been to war , jesus stop clutching at straws

Also this:

Walz mobilized with the Minnesota National Guard Aug. 3, 2003 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, whose primary mission was the war in Afghanistan but also had counterterrorism roles in other regions.

His 1st Battalion of the 125th Field Artillery supported security missions in Europe and Turkey, according to a statement from Lt. Col. Kristen Auge, a spokesperson for the Minnesota National Guard.

From the actual guy in charge of him who he side stepped to get out .. So he knew they were getting deployed before he put them in
.
Julin, who oversaw Walz as a more senior command sergeant major, said that Walz approached him in 2005 and said he was prepared to go on their upcoming deployment to Iraq, but also was interested in running for Congress. Julin said he thought “no big deal” because other members of Congress had deployed. But a couple of months later, Julin learned from another member of the Guard that Walz had retired. Julin was frustrated, he said, because Walz had arranged his retirement with two officers who outranked Julin. “I would have analyzed it and challenged him,” Julin said. “It would have been a different discussion, but he went to the higher ranks. He knew I would have told him, ‘Suck it up, we’re going.’ ”

People miss speak all the time. How many times has your hero Trump done that? Is there anything else, like an interview or an article where he actually claims he has served in a war?

Have you served? You seem to know a lot.
i clearly know a lot more than you .
An example of claiming you have been to war when you havent has just got the chief constable of northamptonshire sacked after he was seen wearing a falklands medal and claiming at one stage to have fought in the war despite being 15 at the time then claiming he got to a certain rank in the navy over ten years despite only serving 2

yeah every week in the pub a different guy will drop into the conversation about the wars they have fought then backtrack and say it was just an argument with the wife

It sounds like a personal grudge to me. I don't think this Julin guy actually has any power to decide whether a soldier can retire.
