EV are they worth it?

I do. Do you know the lithium in EV is 2 million times (guesstimate) more than what is in the button battery?

There's 20 million times more water in the Atlantic than in Windermere, but I stand an exactly equal chance of drowning in either...

Because the climate has done, what it has always done - it has changed.

Yeah... rather faster than before, which has got an awful lot of scientists worried, but I'm sure they'd all be relieved to hear your explanation of why they needn't...

and an awful lot of money to be made, by worrying people needlessly, about something no one can do much about.

I think EVs are great for certain situations. I saw a cool little Citroen thing that would be ideal for buzzing around town. I may, at some point in the future, actually buy a small EV, but I certainly won't be guilted into buying one by a government who supply missiles to fuel a potential 'forever' war. Imagine the pollution created by each sickening explosion!

Cute cars, sports cars are all great if you have the space for them. If resources are limited then you really want a single car that does it all. Cute cars lack practicality. For a run around type of thing, a 3 wheeler scooter appeals to me.

Got to hand it to you, that's one of the more original excuses I've heard in a good while! However, those explosions are going to go on with or without the transition to EVs. The choice is pollution from ICEs AND missiles, or pollution from a smaller number of ICEs, some EV, and missiles...
