May have been wrong there but the question I was answering was when was the last time the winning vote was over 50%. I remembered from school that 52 is over 50.
the 52% voted to make the country far worse off

Leavers are massive losers

Yes. Agree with all that.

But do you think the 48% (virtually half of all voters) are represented?

I've got no problem with the result, but I've got no representation. Right or wrong?

You are the loser

You voted for something that has made this country worse off

And being a complete loser you spend your time on here defending a colossal failure.

Mottie the massive leaver loser
You voted for it!!

Lmao

Unfortunately, you cant have PR in a referendum. They are simple yes or no votes. Anyway, who represented those that DIDN'T want to join the first time round? I’ll tell you something though, I knew two people, labour voters, who voted to remain, weren't happy with the result but both said that due to all the stalling, court cases, demonstrations etc of those trying to overturn the result, they thought, feck it and voted conservative just to put an end to it and move on. I suspect many others throughout the country did too, hence the 80 seat majority and the result of the referendum being carried out. Still didn’t stop the whining though, did it?

And that sums up the problem with fptp.

The rest of your post is anecdotes.

Taking this site as an indicator suggests its more likely that its brexit voters who regret their votes. Indeed the only people I know that would change their votes, voted for brexit.

You can't see how it fails a lot of people, causing division?
Someone will always be upset at the result of a yes/no vote. Always the lesser number though, that’s how things work. If you had to disappoint 52% or 48%, who would you upset?

You brought them up, I just proved yours were unlikely compared to a bigger example
A bigger anecdote, you mean.

all the stalling, court cases, demonstrations etc of those trying to overturn the result,

Like Rwanda, if those "in charge" had the faintest clue what they are doing, there'd be no basis in any of that.

Just another roll of the dice, to blame anyone but themselves for their inability to run a country.

Brexit is on for disappointing about 90% of voters and climbing. When prominent brexers like Radcliffe throw a in the towel...
