I'm sure you'll find loads of typos in comments.
I quickly proof read my comments before posting them, and sometimes typos are missed.
But if I use a word erroneously, it stands out a mile.

As for the careful selection of posts that support ones point of view, there's no better example than yourself.

Of course I select articles and web sites to support my arguments. And I ensure I provide the links for everyone to verify my interpretation of what I've read is accurate.

What I don't do is to carefully select part of a paragraph, to support my argument and omit another part that refutes my argument. That's disingenuine. Then to omit the link that allows me to check the interpretation is dishonest. To pretend the words are my own is academic fraud.
