People do it all the time.

Failure to understand the criteria of the offence
Inability to afford legal costs.
A feeling that its stacked against you and a discount for guilty is better than defending you case.

I know of a person who walked in to the police station and admitted Fraud, when she was actually the victim of blackmail. 2 1/2 years.
Failing to understand what you’re pleading guilty to must be grounds for appeal surely

But if you stretched your imagination, could you not possibly see that those 'rough men' might be the ones in the services - police and army??? :idea::idea::idea:

Remember this quote is quite old, so may apply to the police before they were feminised, drove cars with pride rainbows all over them and turned themselves into a branch of social services.

(Somehow it loses something when you have to explain everything to liberals, especially some other posts containing humour. :rolleyes: )
