Trouble at t' mill.

Two months in, let the backstabbing begin.

Rather ambiguous as far as opinion pieces go. I'm not getting the point or relevance of the article, other than it points out there are disgruntled back stabbers in politics (surprise surprise - not).

I don't whether to say that this is a pointless thread or a pointless (fluff out the pages) opinion piece.

I’m picking up the political mantle on the government of the day that JohnD seems to have dropped when the Conservatives were voted out. He seems to have gone all quiet on political matters these days now he has found a new raison d'etre. She was his specialist subject and he was a big, big fan of her at one time. He even started a thread championing her but seems to have gone all quiet on her lately.

Labour are in power, didn't you know?
I guessed that. A certain few on here seem to have put their special Labour blinkers on and seem to be following the saying "If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all".

Well that’s funny, the RW on here spend their time whining about the BBC being left wing biased….l

When you take into account the benefits in kind, the PM “earns” millions. Her salary is less than leading civil servants and many local authority chief executives. Its legitimate keep an eye on her power and influence as an unelected political appointee, like Cambell was for Blare.

£170k a year is not that high, given her role is to run the country and tell new old new labour what to do.

I hope MI5 are keeping an eye on her.
She was rejected for the job of head of the N.Ireland Civil service.
I wonder why that was.?

The £170k a year is a non story

The amounts of gifts etc Keir Starmer has received is a story though - I’m against anything that could lead to policy influence. If Mottie etc want to criticise govt, that’s a debate worth having, the Sue Gray salary….Nah
