1) Hamas commit appalling acts of terror
Both Hamas and Israelis, IDF and civilians, commit appalling terrible acts, and there can be no justification, nor excuse for such atrocities.
Hamas have been doing it since about 2006, and in response to Israel subjugating the Palestinians and committing such appalling terrible acts since about 1967.
2) groups that commit acts of terror are terrorists
You can't claim that they were acts of terror without applying the politically motivated label of terrorists.
(I'll come to the politicisation in a minute.)
Come on Himmie, try your hardest to prove any dishonesty in those statements
As UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said, Hamas acts of atrocity do not occur in a vacuum.
To suggest or imply that they do is disingenous. (see my response to your point 1)
The reality is that it is you who is dishonest because you desperately try and claim Hamas are only given the name of terrorists for political reasons
Let me draw another example of politicaly motivated labeling of terrorists, one much closer to home and I suspect within your lifetime:
Were IRA designated as terrorist organisations by UK government? The answer to that must be a resounding YES! Even thir political wing Sinn Fein were denied a voice during the 70's.
Were the IRA designated as terrorist by USA, and many other countries?
Or, if you like, which countries designated the IRA as terrorists.
Why not?
When you've perused the answer to that question, you will, I hope, understand that designating an orgainsation as terrorist is indeed a political policy. There is no absolute international list nor international agreement about who or what are terrorist organisations. In the absence of any such list or agreement, there is no other conclusion than to accept that the designation is a political ploy.
